                                        CRITERIA FOR SELECTION

The selection process for honorary degree recipients at UCBU is rigorous and thorough. Candidates are evaluated based on the following criteria:

                               NOMINATION AND SELECTION PROCESS

 

Nominations for honorary degree candidates may be submitted by members of the UCBU community, including faculty, staff, students, alumni, and trustees. The nominations are carefully reviewed by a selection committee composed of distinguished faculty members and university leaders.

The selection committee evaluates each nominee based on the established criteria and selects individuals whose achievements align most closely with the values and mission of UCBU. Final approval for honorary degree recipients is granted by the university’s governing body.

 

Nominations to the Committee will remain active for three years. If you have nominated anyone within the previous two years, renomination is not required; however, additional or updated materials may be submitted.

 

                                                     CONFERRAL CEREMONY

 

The conferral ceremony serves as a celebration of the recipient’s accomplishments and a tribute to their contributions to society. It is a time-honored tradition that highlights the values of excellence, integrity, and service that define the UCBU community.
