United Christian Bible University exists to prepare ministerial leaders for the Pentecostal and Charismatic churches globally, and to serve as a resource center for assisting these churches to fulfill their biblical mandate. To this end, United Christian Bible University provides advanced leadership training within the Pentecostal and  Charismatic tradition and a variety of theological, educational, and ministry services that seek to develop and enhance the effectiveness of the churches and students it serves. Specialized training is offered in Christian leadership, church administration and management, biblical theology, Christian religion knowledge, pastoral ministry, Christian education, evangelism and missions.etc.

                                                             OUR GOAL

An important goal of United Christian Bible University is to conduct academically sound educational programs that are sensitive to the cultural issues and needs of the global churches and ministries, while providing opportunities for students to learn through hands-on ministry experiences.

1. Provide an institution of learning for the churches and ministries.

2.    Implement a Christ-centered, biblically oriented curriculum that recognizes the Bible as the infallible and authoritative rule of faith and conduct.

 3.   Conduct a program designed to enrich the learning experiences of all students and promote their effectiveness in ministry, including both those with a strong background in Bible and ministry and those with a secular education.

4.    Provide a program of studies within the Pentecostal tradition and giving emphasis to the person and work of the Holy Spirit in life and ministry.

5.    Establish a curriculum designed to assist students to acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for Christian leadership and that also encourages a spirit of inquiry and develops the student’s skills in research.

6.    Maintain an environment, provide activities, and offer guidance conducive to the development of the spiritual life and character of students as servants of God.

 7.   Offer specialized ministry programs of continuing education for Christian service.

 8.   Conduct cross-cultural, missiological training in evangelism, church planting and nurturing, and community development that is consistent with a spirit of obedience to our Lord’s Great Commission “to make disciples of all people” (Matt. 18:19-20).

We teach people to think through issues by providing foundational knowledge, tools and skills so that they can approach practical ministry with a well-developed framework for leading various forms of ministry rather than prescribing one approach to ministry.

Our studies contain a high academic level of education, and we are committed to maintaining this high standard as an important foundation for practical ministry.

WE ARE COMMUNICATION FOCUSSED

In any form of ministry communication skills are paramount. The effectiveness of ministry will depend not so much on the knowledge of the message but on how the message is communicated in a relevant and clear way. All of our studies incorporate the need to be able to communicate well that which is being learned.

WE ARE COMMUNITY CENTRED

We believe that community is a primary means for personal transformation as well as foundational for healthy church ministry. To facilitate this, part of our training includes students experiencing and being part of a transforming community at college.

WE ARE KINGDOM TRAINERS

Rather than only training the individual, we desire to give students tools so they can develop others as well as themselves. Each graduate should be able to not only effectively impact the world in which they minister, but train others to also impact their world for Christ.
